Want to earn over $200k? Read this 👇

I always got the vibe that men (typically management) were all part of a secret society…a “boys club”.
A club that was incredibly beneficial for their careers.
It turns out, I was right.
There were (and still are) circles and networks these gents were looped into that many of my female colleagues weren’t and it got me thinking…
…if we women were to have such a club, how could we create it, tailored to what we need so we would also thrive?
Below you’ll find the answer so let’s dive in.

The club that has you earn over $200k
A 2021 study by Harvard University found boys clubs are still very much alive today.
And it found the benefits to men were significant.
It showed that when a male employee transfers from a female manager to a male manager, they are promoted faster than any other group. After ten months, the difference in promotion rate manifests, on average, as a 14.6% higher salary.
I first noticed this back in 2006…
I was starting a new role in property development when I first realised there was a massive opportunity gap for women.
99% of our senior leadership team were men and the only woman, to be honest, was so aggressive she scared the pants off me.
I wondered why there were few females at the top…
During my time there I was offered the opportunity to take part in a female only mentoring program.
Maybe the company was changing its ways?
The aim was to ensure women took their careers to the next level and had the opportunity to move into leadership roles.
What a great idea!
But…
At the end of the program, a vibrant, smart and “ready to lead” female colleague missed out on a key role.
I was perplexed as to why, as the company was spending big on her training.
It happened again to another colleague for another role. And then again.
I started to think that perhaps the content in the mentoring program wasn’t exactly helpful…
…did we really need to set an alarm to “check our makeup and appearance” multiple times throughout the day?
So I turned my attention to the gents that were landing these converted roles.
After much silent observation I found THE thing they were doing that my female colleagues weren’t.
They went for “pot’s and parmy’s”.
Yep, each week on a Friday, a small circle of them went out for a Corona beer and chicken parmigiana.
They were the ones landing the leadership roles.
But it wasn’t just the lunches I noticed…
It was the weekend golf days…
Thursday night drinks…
The online chat group with the funny memes (being an EA I saw most things)…
They operated in a secret circle that most of the organisation didn’t even know about, let alone get access to.
My naive self had discovered the ‘boys club’, but instead of getting ‘mad and disgruntled’ like I could have…
…I decided to get curious.
The benefits of being in this group were extraordinary. They operated as a group of mentors, guiding each other on how to:
- Deal with conflict and politics
- Get a strategic lens on priorities
- Network and know about job opportunities
- How to leverage different teams and workload
- How to get noticed within management and increase their salary
The benefits were incredible! Including (and I saw this in my role within HR too) salaries easily making it over $200k.
And I wondered…How the heck do people get invited?
(Like all secret societies, it was typically “invite only”!)
Luckily for me in my role, I was a fly on the wall that had an insight into a world that proved to be these mens ticket to success.
So, I’ve taken these learnings and now I want to share them with you...

Time To Thrive Ladies!

Join a “girls club”
Whilst I can see the benefits of a “boys club”, I don't think women want to fit into the way men do it.
I’ve coached hundreds of ambitious women, and I’ve also been a part of many women only groups and I firmly believe what women need and want is different from men.
Plus, the value and perspective women can bring is vast and deep, so bringing both of these together is critical.
So here’s how I’m going to help you get this.
Join your very own "club” and apply to be in our exclusive Thriving Leaders Club.
It's our brand new exclusive community for women who want to be impactful, influential leaders that radiate confidence and enjoy ease and balance in their careers.
(and stop suffering from burnout, feeling unseen and unrecognised and simply surviving dealing with hard team members).
It's so exclusive, I'm only opening the club to 25 people initially (and nearly half the spots are taken already).
The reason this club is so important is because the more I talk to you the more I hear this:
- You don't feel in control of your calendar or priorities
- You feel alone in dealing with the day to day problems that arise at work
- You're not being developed or mentored or given opportunities in your company
- You're not getting the work / life balance you wanted
- The people you lead (or your stakeholders) are hard work
- You want to continue progressing, and to not fall behind
- You want to be rewarded for your effort, financially and with recognition
Do you want to say "see ya later" to those challenges?
Great! I've recorded a short video for you to show you how.
In the video I talk about what it takes to become an impactful influential leader AND the 3 main problems I see that stop ambitious women from achieving the leadership success they really want.
It's what underpins the work we'll do as a community inside this exclusive club over the next 12 months and beyond.
So, if you want to up-level your leadership game with full support and a community of kick arse women, here's your next steps:
- Watch the video
- Find time in my calendar and apply to join the club.
I'll be opening up founding member spots over the next 2 weeks then it will close.
It's application only because we need to see that it's a good fit for you and your goals, but also that you're a good fit for the club and overall community.
I can't wait to share more with you when we talk.
