This kind of sucks but…
Women who don’t strategically plan for career growth often end up getting way less than what they deserve.
Even if they are AMAZING at their jobs.
So my biggest hack for not getting stuck at the bottom of the ladder is to be super intentional about where you want to go.
But what happens if you’re not sure where you want to go? You’re lacking clarity or direction?
The tool I use is called a Career Blueprint.
I get all my clients to do this.
It maps out exactly what they’re looking for in a company and role but most importantly…
…what drives and motivates them in life.
Salary, flexibility, growth potential, work/life balance, team culture, the kind of projects you want to work on… Whatever your dream job includes, it all goes into your blueprint.
And whatever your “non negotiable's” are, they take front and centre too (we need to know what opportunities you’re going to decline that don’t work for you).
Don’t worry about whether it’s perfect, just get it all on paper.
Once you're clear on your non-negotiable's and aspirations, you can focus all your energy on making strategic career moves that propel you forward.
No more hoping the powers-that-be will notice your hard work and reward you… like, eventually.
