Prepare For Your Next Interview
May 03, 2024Preparing for behavioural interview questions is crucial, but let’s take the stress out of it! Use these steps to create impactful answers and walk in (or dial in) to your interview confidently.

- Consider what behavioural based question ‘themes’ they’re likely to ask.
- Some example themes are: Communication, Teamwork,
Strategic thinking. Leadership, Collabor ation, Delegation, Customer Focus. Innovation, Safety, Con flict resolution.
- Some example themes are: Communication, Teamwork,
- Either manually highlight the key themes you see in the job ad, or paste the position description into ChatGPT and have AI collate that for you.
- Choose 1 of the key themes at a time; define the key actions (use your brain or ChatGPT)
- Choose an example that best aligns with that theme and ensure you include the key actions so they see your Optimal Operating Mode.
Before you get overwhelmed and think you need to create 20 different examples, you don’t.
During an interview, you’re unlikely to be asked more than 3 - 4 behavioural based questions due to time restraints, so just have 3 - 4 examples that can be used across numerous key themes.
